Our Nonprofit

The Festival at Sandpoint is a public charity as outlined in section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Federal Business ID 82-0372810.

By incorporating the surrounding natural beauty of North Idaho, the Festival at Sandpoint is devoted to enriching the local community by providing a wide array of diverse opportunities to engage with arts, music, and culture through performances, experiences, and education in an attempt to promote cultural diversity, community connection and engagement, and stimulate the economic vitality of the region.

Our Mission

  • The Festival strives to cultivate cultural and ethnic diversity and to pursue all opportunities to inspire, enlighten, and educate our community with the greatest possible music and performing arts of the world: forms new and old, artists known and unknown.

  • The Festival strives to present a range of classical symphonic, jazz, blues, folk, world, family, and popular music at prices which are affordable to our local audiences, thereby making Sandpoint a better place to live.

  • The Festival strives to present its concerts in an intimate setting which celebrates the natural beauty and charm of our small city, thereby making Sandpoint a better place to visit.

Through the medium of music, we will unite people from different backgrounds, ethnicities, and belief systems and help our community connect, cooperate, and care for each other.

Our Vision

Enlightenment, excellence, community enhancement, inclusivity

Our values

The Festival at Sandpoint is committed to making diversity, equity, and inclusion part of everything we do – from the music that graces our stage to our youth music education programs to the talent that makes up our workforce. Just like the medium of music, we strive to unite people from different backgrounds, ethnicities, and belief systems and help our community connect, cooperate and care for each other.
