Volunteer at the Festival

Volunteering for the Festival is an excellent option to attend concerts while giving back to the community. There are many different positions for volunteering.

Some teams may have enough volunteers for the year. We recommend selecting a few areas of interest.

FAS Orchestra

Over 60+ musicians from across the Inland Northwest form the Festival at Sandpoint Orchestra, and have the opportunity to perform on stage at our annual Grand Finale performance.

A community orchestra fosters a sense of unity and camaraderie among local musicians, providing them with a platform to collaborate, share their passion for music, and enhance their skills in a supportive environment. Additionally, it enriches the cultural fabric of the community by offering accessible and affordable live musical performances for residents to enjoy.

  • The 2023 Summer Series culminated with the debut performance of the Festival at Sandpoint Orchestra. The Pacific Northwest’s newest sinfonietta was comprised of more than 60 local and regional musicians, curated by Sandpoint native Dr. Jason Moody, who also served as concertmaster. Under the baton of conductor Morihiko Nakahara, the Festival at Sandpoint Orchestra performed The Princess Bride in Concert.
