Hali Karr

Hali received a Bachelor of Fine Arts-Pictorial from UCLA, a Master’s degree in Education from the University of San Francisco, and holds a lifetime teaching credential in California. She taught elementary education for 11 years while also teaching continuing education courses for teachers at Pepperdine University. She worked in wholesale consumer electronics sales in the Seattle area and later served as assistant director/buyer for PANACA Gallery in Bellevue, WA. She was involved with the Bellevue Art Museum as president of the Docents, chairman of the fundraising guilds, helped to run the Bellevue Arts & Crafts Fair, and served on the museum Board of Trustees. She has served on the Pend d’Oreille Arts Council Board and is involved with 101 Women. She spends her free time making and selling her jewelry, taking pilates and spinning classes, learning Italian, gardening, and adding to her recipe collection.
