The Festival at Sandpoint/Angels Over Sandpoint Dance Scholarship
Scholarship Criteria and Guidelines
Amount of Scholarship: $1,000.00
You may use funds for any dance workshops, lessons or tuition.
Eligibility: Open to all Bonner County high school students, including private and home school.
Deadline for Application: Written applications are to be postmarked by April 13, 2012. Please mail your completed application to: Kathy Andruzak, 635 Erie Street, Sandpoint, ID 83864. Any applications postmarked or received past April 13th will not be considered.
Interview/Portfolio Presentation: We will contact all applicants to schedule an interview to take place at the Sandpoint Events Center in late April.
Award Presentation: The winner will be notified by May 15, 2012 and will be presented with their scholarship check at The Festival at Sandpoint’s Family Concert, Sunday, August 5, 2012.

Submit written application in type written form. You may reproduce the application on your computer.

Copy of your Transcripts

Two letters of Recommendation (one MUST be from an English teacher). Please, no letters from family members.

A Written Piece of 1,000 words

This written piece must be at least 1,000 words on the topic "What inspires you?...i.e., What gets you out of bed every mornng, what keeps you going throughout the day, what do you dream about at night?" Your piece can fovus on any or all aspects of this topic.
